Zerand, now a division of North American Cerutti, has produced equipment for the folding carton industry since 1962. Zerand was formed by a group of people with technical backgrounds in the folding carton industry. This group worked at Mercury Engineering, who pioneered the design of equipment for producing folding cartons from a continuous web rather than from individual sheets.
During the history of Zerand, we have consistently advanced the state of the art of this industry.
Since its inception in 1962, Zerand has averaged one Cutter Creaser shipment every seven weeks.
Zerand, known for the highest quality, productivity, and longevity, dominates the domestic market.
In April of 1998 Cerutti acquired Zerand to provide a complete system for producing folding cartons in line with their printing presses, either Cerutti Gravure or Flexotecnica CI and Zerand inline flexographic press. This approach provides a single source of responsibility for the entire line. With Cerutti's support from Italy, sales and service for all Zerand products is now available in Europe and Asia.
