| Celebration of Sagawa Printing 40th Anniversary! |
More than 400 people attended the ceremony for the 40 years anniversary of Sagawa Printing. The event was held in Kyoto, on July the 6th, in the presence of many of the Company’s employees, suppliers and important representatives such as the Governor and the Major of Kyoto and the former President of Sony Corporation Mr Nobuyuki.
Mr Muneaki Kinoshita, Chairman of Sagawa Printing, reviewed in his speech, with the help of a colourful video, the development of the Company that is today one of the most consolidated media Groups in Japan.
Mr Kinoshita particularly underlined the important role of Sagawa as a publication printing House with a widespread presence in different market segments like catalogues, business forms, labels and supermarket advertisement.
Sagawa’s first contact with Cerutti was at Drupa 1995; production started in their Hino plant in November 1996 with their first gravure press, followed by the second in 1997 and the third in 2001.
Dr Giancarlo Cerutti attended the ceremony and looked back along this long path offering Mr and Mrs Kinoshita an old print of the city of Casale Monferrato, headquarters of Cerutti Company.
Lunch started after the speeches; on the stage it was the turn of the beautiful and delightful performances of local artists dressed in Kimono and accompanied by piano players.
The event was a huge success, the best celebration of forty years of dedication and commitment from the Chairman Mr Kinoshita, from Mrs Kinoshita and the President Mr Nishida, as well as from many collaborators that have led Sagawa Printing to be one of the finest printing companies in Japan. |
